Bug in Googe Search Results!!
When he run his query he got this " Results 1 - 10 of about 20. (0.03 seconds)". So it means he got 10 results. Definitely one page results beacuse of the rule 10 results per page.
But surprisingly, at the end of the results he got the link to see the next set results on the page two.
Just for curiosty, he navigated to next page. he got this!!!!!!!!.
Ooops, not even single result (of course there only 10 results how can we expect more than that). But even why these Googlers haven't tested this scenario to fix atleast their name is coming properly as "Google" rather than "Gogle".
It's funny.. isn't it.

Oops! Timezone for India is missed in the Microsoft Designer community for Indians!!!
Finally, Microsoft just cross their barries in supporting only their developers community and their activities. Now they have come up the Designer community to focus on the designers activities in the fileds like Web, Print and other interactive media. (Obviously they have some new products called Expression which focuses on the Grapgic Designers, Interactive Designers and Web Designers.
Ofcourse we think its a Sales/Marketing strategy to make more active users and contributors to promote well. But, any how designers will also get much useful seminars, discussions, events around the city to know more and more on the products, domain, job hunts and lot more.
Recently, Microsoft has hosted a event to launch officially in building the community in Le Meridian, Bangalore on 28th September 2006.
Even lot many discussion has happened to build the better community and how the users need to particiate to make use of the community and lot more stuffs, finaly there was no such inofrmation which ahas spread across the particpants or on the net to know more details on the post event of the community launch program.
Finally, i got a link from one of my friend, its a http://1expression.net/.
Good, its a begin, every need to participate and to share make good network, so currently we have very less users and only few posts.
But, why this mistake is happened on the Forum Regstration page. In the Timezone, their is no entry of the (GMT + 5.30) so indian cities names are missing. So definitely i need to pick the other nearby one is (GMT +05:00) Islamabad, Karachi, Tashkent.
Why this so,
- Is it beacuse to reduce the height of the COMBOX entries.
- or just simply, used the pre-built code.
Guys, the focus of the community for indian designers and the first step is wrong. Anyways it just an simple mistake we can correct it.

Help Pooja find her parents
Pooja is a 4 year old girl kidnapped by a beggar. This person made Pooja beg with him. He was arrested in the Kerala state and jailed. Pooja is in an orphanage (Nirmala Sisu Bhavan in Trivandrum, Kerala, India). The beggar who kidnapped her is dumb and deaf. So police cannot get the place from where he kidnapped her.
Pooja's primary language is Hindi and as per Pooja, her mother's name is Munni Devi and Father's name is Raju.
Pooja says she has a younger brother and an elder sister. She says her place is Nagaluppe, but no one has heard about this place.
I think with the power of Internet and by spreading the word around, we may be able to trace her parents.
If you know any information about her parents, please call this orphanage.
The phone number is 0471-2307434 (0471 is the area code for Trivandrum, Kerala).
Please forward this website address (http://www.helppoojafindherparents.org ) to as many people as you can, especially to all your friends and relatives in India. Every new person visiting this website increases the chances of Pooja finding her parents.
Can’t we do at least forwarding this message to all your friends rather than usual junk forwards?
WUDBE - World Usability Day - Bangalore Edition
Are you Graphic/Web/Interior/Interface/Interaction Designer, Architect, Product Designer?
Hutch!! why your service sucks..
Every month I usually visit their site to pay my mobile connection payments. I always stuck up in too many issues in paying my hutch bills
1. May be because I forgot my password, so I need to call up to customer support to get new one, at least I have done this for consecutive three months.
2. Or they may have setup a new password for a while, once I finished my payments I just log off from the site without changing my password (it may be temporary password, but they haven’t prompted once I logged in to change password, if so they need to), so again it will be locked for the next login, so next time the old password won't work. So again I need to call up those guys by providing some of personal info to claiming that I’m the right person, so please give the new password ;).
3. Lastly, one of my favorite browser is Firefox, the Hutch's online payment webpage link from the corresponding referring page it won't take to the corresponding page due to some JavaScript errors. Firefox won't execute the next line of statements to navigate / redirecting the page until the previous error is corrected.
So definitely I need to close the Firefox and need to turn on IE. IE never cares for JavaScript errors, it just shows some times in message window, if make them hide details, even ignores it and easily executes the next statement and redirects to the page. Oops finally I reached the page.
I know, i should not blame them they have put small note on the browser support like "Please note currently My Hutch is only supported by Internet Explorer version 5.0 and above"
This time I don't want to repeat the same stupidity what I have done thrice before, so after once login I just clicked on "Change Password", after filling with the OLD and NEW password, I just press the next FORM buttons, as generally humans or the computer users does, but it just reset the form page without submitting it. Yeah I clicked the RESET than the SUBMIT, yes it was my mistake. But how could I have done this without seeing it.
According to normal human-computer interaction behavior, always at the end of the form, users does usually get SUBMIT first and RESET next, this principal was used from most of the applications, and we daily come across.
This is very simple and quite common mistakes that usually the form designers do. But the usage of these websites / portals users are definitely huge, so the designers / developers need to take care in building the browser compliant and simple and more usable/interactive sites.
